Alessandro Ferrari

Alessandro Ferrari is an AI entrepreneur, researcher, and lecturer with over 15 years of experience in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence. In 2016, he founded ARGO Vision, an AI startup focused on industrial Computer Vision, which was acquired by the Marchesini Group in 2020. He currently serves as CEO of ARGO Vision and, since 2022, as Adjunct Professor at the University of Pavia, where he teaches Artificial Intelligence and Communication. He is also the founder and organizer of Py4AI, an international AI conference that brings leading researchers, scientists, and practitioners from around the world to Pavia.

He has worked on efficient data loading projects for EuroCC and is part of the young generation’s involvement in EuroCC collaborations. On the side, Thomas finds interests in computational photography.
Claudia Cuttano

Claudia Cuttano is a PhD student at Politecnico di Torino, working on computer vision. During her PhD, she was a visiting researcher at the Visual Inference Lab at TU Darmstadt and a Research Scientist Intern at Adobe Research Paris. She is currently a Research Scientist Intern at Meta FAIR in New York, working with the Segment Anything team. Her research focuses on understanding and advancing vision foundation models for pixel-level tasks, with work published at top-tier conferences such as CVPR and NeurIPS.
